Aswan – Ihab Omran:
Nubian singer Mohamed Fawzy was killed a short while ago in a tragic collision accident on the Western Desert Road “Aswan-Cairo” in front of the entrance to the village of Banban.
Singer Mohamed Fawzy was born in the village of Balana in Nasr El-Nuba Center. He is considered one of the most famous singers who played and sang together.
Al-Nubi gave many concerts in Egypt and the Arab world, and contributed to spreading Nubian songs.
During his singing career, the late singer presented dozens of distinctive Nubian artistic works, the most prominent of which were: “Layla, Behebeha, Qalat Li, Koshkasha Al-Wadaa, Am Ya Jamala, Hamam Al-Wadi, Sa’ilin Alaik, Betqool Mushtaq, and Malou Al-Qamar.”
It is noteworthy that Major General Mohamed Abul-Leil, Director of Aswan Security, received a short while ago a notification from the Chief of Daraw Police Station, stating that a collision accident occurred between a microbus and a private car on the Western Desert Road.
The accident resulted in the death of 3 people and the injury of 10 others who were transferred to Aswan Specialized Hospital.
