Al-Ahly concludes its first training session in Tanzania in preparation for the match against Simba in the African Champions League


He played in the club’s first football team Al-Ahly This Wednesday evening, the first training session took place at one of the stadiums near the mission’s residence in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.


The players performed various physical exercises at the beginning of the training sessions, under the supervision of Andres Ndoya, the load planner, to relieve the stress of the travel trip from Cairo to Tanzania, which took approximately 6 hours.


Marcel Kohler, the technical director, met with the assistant technical staff on the sidelines of the training session, to confirm some technical matters in preparation for the match against Simba, Tanzania.


Michel Yancon, the goalkeeper coach, led various physical and technical training sessions for the goalkeeper trio, Mustafa Schubert, Hamza Alaa, and Mustafa Makhlouf.


Kohler concluded the training sessions with a mini-division between the players that focused on implementing some specific technical and tactical sentences.


The team’s mission, headed by Captain Hossam Ghaly, a member of the Board of Directors, arrived in Tanzania this afternoon.


Al-Ahly is preparing to face the Tanzanian team, Simba, on Friday evening at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.
