Ashraf Abdel Aziz, the lawyer of Al-Ahly club player Hussein Al-Shahat, revealed the fact that his client received a notification to consider his trial, in the lawsuit filed against him by the player Mohamed Al-Shaibi, the Future club player.
Al-Shaibi’s lawyer had previously announced that next April 18 had been set to consider the case related to Hussein Al-Shahat, with the player appearing before the court.
Ashraf Abdel Aziz, Hussein Al-Shahat’s lawyer, said in exclusive statements to the Masrawy website: “A grievance has been submitted before the Acting First Public Prosecutor at the Cairo Appeals Prosecution, in which the lawyer of Mohamed El-Shaibi, the Pyramids club player, complains, following his recent statements, that a session has been set for next April 18 to consider the trial.” Hein Al-Shahat, on charges of insulting, slandering, and assaulting Muhammad Al-Shaibi.
He added: “Al-Shahat was not notified of any date for his trial, demanding that the case papers and the session that had been scheduled be extracted, according to statements by the player’s lawyer, Mohamed Al-Shaibi.”
Al-Shahat’s lawyer concluded his statements: “Gamal Allam, President of the Football Association, and Amer Hussein, Chairman of the Competitions Committee, will be summoned to hear their statements regarding this incident, in addition to summoning the match’s refereeing crew, and the match observer’s report will also be attached.”
The Club Association announced that the player, Hussein Al-Shahat, would be suspended for two matches, and fined 20,000 pounds, after he assaulted the player Mohamed El-Shaibi, the Pyramids player.
