The Public Prosecution, headed by Counselor Ihab Al-Awadhi, Chief Prosecutor of Sheikh Zayed, continues the investigation into a security detail in a famous mall accusing Imam Ashour, Al-Ahly club player, of beating and insulting him.
The prosecution decided to summon Yasmine Hafez, the wife of Imam Ashour, the Al-Ahly club player. To hear her statements about the incident where she was harassed inside a mall in Sheikh Zayed, and her husband, Imam Ashour, assaulted the security supervisor because of that incident.
The prosecution opened the surveillance cameras in the vicinity of the cinema to ensure that Imam Ashour’s wife was exposed to harassment from some moviegoers, as the player told the security personnel. A review of the cameras revealed that Imam Ashour’s wife entered the cinema during the show from 3 to 5 am, and during her entry and exit, she appeared walking normally and was not exposed. The prosecution heard the statements of Abdullah, the victim’s security supervisor, who said that while he was stopping at his workplace yesterday at seven in the morning, he was surprised by the player Imam Ashour stopping in his car, accompanied by two cars, from which about 10 to 15 people got out and stormed the mall gate. The security supervisor stopped him, especially since the mall was not working at that time, so he did not answer him. He continued to enter the garage, followed by security personnel.
The victim’s security supervisor, Ahmed Sami, the first prosecutor of Sheikh Zayed, added that he was trying to understand the reason for Imam Ashour’s entry in this way, saying: “What’s wrong, Captain, there are no open shops at the moment?” Then Imam Ashour surprised him with a barrage of insults and obscene words, saying: “My wife has changed, and you.” ….”
The victim’s security supervisor said that when he entered the garage, he stopped him and a verbal altercation occurred between them, so Imam Ashour dropped him to the ground, causing him to lose consciousness. It was not known at the time who had beaten him, whether it was him or others accompanying him.
The security supervisor, Imam Ashour, accused the Al-Ahly club player of beating and insulting him, and presented to the prosecution a medical report from Sheikh Zayed Specialized Hospital regarding the injuries he sustained, as he suffered a bruise on his leg.
A verbal altercation took place between Imam Ashour, Al-Ahly club player, and security personnel in a famous mall in Giza, and those present in the mall controlled both sides of the altercation.
The security services in the Giza Security Directorate received a notification from the Rescue Operations Room that included a report from the security personnel of a famous mall in Sheikh Zayed, reporting that a quarrel had broken out between Imam Ashour, the Al-Ahly club player, and the security personnel due to disagreements between them. Major General Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Assistant Minister of the Interior, Director Giza Security quickly moved, examined and investigated, conducted by the investigation teams in Giza under the supervision of Major General Muhammad Al-Sharqawi, Director of the General Department of Giza Investigations. A verbal altercation broke out between Imam Ashour, the Al-Ahly player, and the mall security personnel, due to one of them having sex with his wife while they were in the mall.
