Dr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, approved Technical diplomas result (First round) for the academic year 2023-2024, with a success rate of 70.9%.
The minister explained that the first Technical Diploma Certificates For the year 2024, it reached 20 female students and 6 male students, indicating that Technical Diploma Certificates Result for 2024 It is characterised by the multiplicity of certificate titles, as there are 24 certificates, as a result of the multiplicity of specialisations (industrial, agricultural, commercial, hotel) and the existence of two study systems: 3 years, 5 years, and the existence of more than one study method (regular study, study with the dual education and training system, and study with the vocational preparation system).
In the 5-year system, 21,577 students attended (4 certificates) with a success rate of 89.95%. In the 5-year applied technology system, 52 students attended (one certificate) with a success rate of 98.07%. In the 3-year system -general- 567,287 students attended (4 certificates) with a success rate of 69.47%. In the 3-year system with dual education and training, 11,259 students attended (4 certificates) with a success rate of 81.44%. In the 3-year system of programs developed according to the competencies methodology, 113,886 students attended (4 certificates) with a success rate of 89.03%. As for the 3-year applied technology system, 3,015 students attended (4 certificates) with a success rate of 84.74%. In the 3-year vocational preparation system, 60,110 students attended (3 certificates) with a success rate of 37.84%.
The number of integration students who attended the exam was 45 students under the five-year system, with a success rate of 93.33%, while the number of integration students who attended the exam was 9,738 students under the three-year system, with a success rate of 88.09%.

The Minister explained that the number of applicants reached 790,625 male and female students, the total number of attendees reached 786,969 male and female students, and the total number of successful students reached 558,018 male and female students.
The Minister thanked all technical education staff, students and parents for their sincere efforts throughout the school year, and for completing the educational process and the school year while committing to attending school to receive practical training and theoretical lessons according to the study plan.
The Minister also stressed that Technical education It succeeded, with the capabilities built, in providing additional explanations for curricula and lessons by allocating the Egypt Channel for Technical Education to provide explanations for all technical education programs at a rate of 12 hours per day, and 6 technical education channels on the (YouTube) channel to explain the curricula and reviews. Technical education forums were also created and activated to provide links to explain lessons and communicate with students, and to activate technical education channels in the educational directorates, and communication pages for technical schools.
The Minister added that the practical, laboratory and written exams were held during the period from May 25 to June 27, 2024, where 790,625 male and female students took the exams, and the exams were held in 2,562 committees. For the third year in a row, 1,800 representatives of the labor market participated with the Ministry of Education’s evaluators in evaluating technical diploma students studying the developed study programs according to the methodology of professional competencies required in the labor market, totaling 114,117 male and female students.
The total number of those who will take the second round exam is 197,817, and the total number of those who failed is 34,790 students, including 31,134 students who will retake the exam and 3,656 students who are completely absent and deprived.
