Al-Ittihad’s Argentine coach, Marcelo Gallardo, replaced the 26-year-old Brazilian player during the match, which the Falcons won (4-2), after he suffered a hamstring injury.
Al-Riyadiah newspaper quoted sources as saying, “Felipe will undergo a medical examination in the coming days to check on his condition and clarify the final diagnosis, knowing that the injury is not a cause for concern.”
The tests will determine whether the Brazilian player will participate in the group training scheduled for next Friday, after the end of the vacation granted to them by the technical staff.
