Matta Bishai, head of the Domestic Trade Committee of the Importers Division of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, said that the store closing dates were too late to be implemented, and the change in closing dates is a regulatory decision and does not affect production.

“Bashay” explained, during a phone call with the media figure Karima Awad, on the “Hadith Al-Qahira” program, broadcast on “Cairo and the People” channel, today, Sunday, that this decision satisfies everyone and there will be streets with low traffic density, and there will be times for purchases and life will be more organized.

He added that this decision provides electricity to factories, stores, and malls, stressing that the streets were full of lights at 12 a.m., and the new timings help everyone, including citizens and shop owners, and provide them with electricity to purchase raw materials.

He added: The decision on the closing and opening times of shops will oblige citizens to make purchases at the times specified by the government.
