The statement added: “The Executive Office was surprised by the Al-Ahly Club goalkeeper’s response to one of the questions in today’s press conference, including words that were extremely insulting to all Egyptian journalists and the Egyptian press, by claiming that they always create problems, which the Executive Office sees as an unacceptable transgression and a kind of impoliteness, which… “It requires dealing with it firmly.”

Its text was as follows: “The Executive Office of the Sports Critics Association announces its categorical rejection of the statement made by Mohamed El-Shenawy, Al-Ahly club’s goalkeeper, in the press conference held today on the occasion of the African Champions League final.”
