The Board of Directors extended their sincere thanks to Ahmed Eid and his supporting staff for the period they spent at Ghazl El Mahalla Club, wishing them success in their future projects.

Ahmed Eid Abdel Malik announced his departure from the position of technical director of the Ghazl El Mahalla team by mutual consent, after the heavy defeat the team suffered from Zamalek, with a score of 4-0, in the match that brought them together yesterday evening, Monday, in the fourth round of the league competition.

Ahmed Eid wrote, via his Facebook account: “Thank you, Ghazl El Mahalla fans, for the support at all times during nearly an entire year…and thank you, Engineer Walid Khalil, for the unlimited support for me in particular and for the club, players, and equipment in general.”

He added: “I wish success to the club, the players and the board of directors in the future, God willing. We did everything in our power to raise the status of the club, and we were very tired in forming a good team. In the end, success is not with us after we promoted the team to the excellent level among the adults and its natural place.”

He continued: “I apologize for continuing the agreement and terminating the contract by mutual consent with the club. I will always support Ghazl El Mahalla Club as a fan and fan, and God willing, may God grant everyone success.”
