Girona regained second place in the Spanish Football League standings, after defeating its guest Osasuna 2-0, today, Saturday, in the 28th round of the competition.
Girona took the lead through Porto in the 13th minute, before Savio scored the second goal in the 86th minute.
Girona raised its score to 62 points in second place, one point behind Barcelona, which is in third place, and four points behind leaders Real Madrid, which in turn plays Celta Vigo tomorrow.
On the other hand, Osasuna’s balance froze at 36 points in tenth place.
