Hagai Lober, the father of the late Elisha Yonathan Lober, who was killed in the battle in the Gaza Strip, cried out in the face of the demonstrations of families of abductees against the Prime Minister last night: “It was like a second knock on the door for me”
Hagai Luber, the father of Sgt. (resp.) Elisha Yonatan Luber, a soldier in Battalion 8104 who fell in battle in the southern Gaza Strip last December, delivered a message this morning (Sunday) to the families of abductees who called for an increase in the fight against the government. In an article published on the ‘Arutz 7’ website, he clarified : “You will not burn down the country. If I have to fight you, I will. Millions of people look at you in shock, and only because of your respect are they silent.”
In his conversation with Yanon Magal and Barak Seri, he responded to the words: “When I stood in front of the open grave of Jonathan, my son, I swore on his grave that neither I nor people like you, we cannot go back to October 6. We will continue to disagree, of course, I am not talking about the substance – the tone And the style must change because we were ruined because of them. Suddenly I open the door at midnight and see these things, it was like a second knock on the door for me. People, in a big mistake, think that if someone is in pain, they are allowed to destroy the country. We will establish a moral and value force, it has already arisen, and this force, I did not establish it, it arose from masses of people that what they will never do is to adopt the same methods that we speak against.”
According to him, “I think that this nation is moral, my values. At the next demonstration that they are going to block, I will stand there with a big sign of Jonathan and I will ask them, ‘Did Jonathan fall in vain?’, and if they want to come down and block, let them do it over my body, run over me , that they kill me, that they join me together with Jonathan. This will not happen here in this country. Do you want to say your words? Say. I spoke this morning with my good friends and my beloved and my valuable ones from ‘Kissing Brothers’, we corresponded. I said to them, ‘How? He also claimed: “Controversy is a wonderful thing, they can think that we should return to a Palestinian state and give Hamas the place and that the abductees are the most important thing, there is no dispute about that there must be a dispute. There is a tone, there is a style, there are roadblocks. Roadblocks are violence. ‘Brothers To kiss’ they wrote to me today that ‘this is a non-violent protest’, this is violence.
