“Headed by the Minister”… Forming a new board of directors for the Cairo Stadium Authority to transform it into an economic institution

The Ministry of Youth and Sports announced the new formation of the Board of Directors of the Cairo International Stadium Authority.

The ministry said in a statement: “In light of the decision issued by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly No. 765 of 2024, the Ministry of Youth and Sports announced the new formation of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of the Cairo International Sports Stadium.”

The statement added: “The decision stipulates the restructuring of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Cairo Sports Stadium for a period of four years, headed by the Minister of Youth and Sports and membership of the Governor of Cairo, Ashraf El-Sayed El-Arabi, Head of the Planning Institute, Ali El-Sisi, Assistant Minister of Finance, and Osama Abdel Moneim Saleh, the former Minister of Investment.” Abdel Aziz Abdel Tawab Hashem is a professor at the Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University.”

The ministry’s statement concluded with statements from Ashraf Sobhi, during which he stressed the importance of Cairo International Stadium as a major sports entity, distinguished by the diversity of its facilities that serve all sports, indicating the trend towards making it a major economic body alongside its continuous development.
