Al-Ahly club playmaker, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, missed the group training of the first football team yesterday, Monday.
A source confirmed to Masrawy that Mohamed Magdy trained in the gym yesterday evening at the request of Swiss coach Marcel Kohler.
The source explained that Kohler asked the player to practice in the gym and not to go to group training because of the anger of some of his colleagues over the statements he made yesterday evening on a satellite channel.
The source added that Kohler justified his request by saying that the player’s teammates were angry at his statements, and he even conveyed to the football administration his request to impose a financial penalty on the player.
