Battle of Badr

On the 17th of Ramadan 2 AH, corresponding to March 13, 623 AD, the Battle of Badr took place between the Muslims under the leadership of the Messenger of God – may God bless him and grant him peace – and it is called the “Battle of the Criterion.”
2- The death of Mrs. Ruqaya, may God be pleased with her
On Ramadan 17, 2 AH, corresponding to March 13, 623 AD, Mrs. Ruqayyah, daughter of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, died.
3- The martyrdom of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib
On the 17th of Ramadan 40 AH, corresponding to January 24, 660 AD, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, the fourth of the Rightly Guided Caliphs, was martyred. He converted to Islam early, witnessed the battles with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, married his daughter Fatima, and was famous for his courage, eloquence, and eloquence. He was assassinated by Al-Kharji “Abdullah Al-Rahman bin Muljam Al-Himyari, who is fifty-eight years old.
4- Victory over the Byzantine state in the Battle of Amorite
On the 17th of Ramadan 223 AH, corresponding to August 12, 838 AD, the Muslims defeated the Byzantine state in the Battle of Amuriya under the leadership of the Abbasid Caliph Al-Mu’tasim.
5- The death of Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf Al-Thaqafi
On the seventeenth or twenty-first of the month of Ramadan in the year 95 AH, corresponding to June 714 AD, Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf Al-Thaqafi died, less than a year before the end of the caliphate of Al-Walid bin Abdul-Malik, and his death occurred in Iraq, and he was 54 years old.
6- Baibars abdicated the throne of Egypt
On the seventeenth of Ramadan in the year 709 AH, corresponding to February 17, 1310 AD, Sultan Baybars abdicated the throne of Egypt, after a year and a half of his rule.
