The Israeli occupation army returned at dawn on Tuesday to bomb the Tal Al-Sultan area, west of the area Rafah In the southern Gaza Strip, a day after he committed a massacre against displaced people in a camp near the area.
Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported that 7 Palestinians were martyred as a result of the Israeli artillery shelling of the displaced persons’ tents and the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood.
Seven Palestinians were also martyred and others were injured in a previous raid that targeted a house north of the city of Rafah, and the bodies of the martyrs and a number of the injured were transported to Tal Al-Sultan Clinic.
Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported the displacement of dozens of Palestinian families as a result of the Israeli bombing, and said that ambulances are facing great difficulties to provide relief to the injured trapped inside the homes that were bombed in the western area of Rafah.
The artillery shelling also targeted the upper floor of the Indonesian Hospital, west of Rafah, and our correspondent indicated the presence of medical teams and patients trapped by the intense bombardment inside the Tal Al-Sultan Clinic and the hospital.
Meanwhile, Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported that there were casualties in clashes around the Zoroub roundabout, west of the city of Rafah, following an attempt by Israeli vehicles to penetrate the area.
Fire belts
Yesterday, Monday, local media reported that the occupation launched bombing operations in conjunction with artillery shelling on the eastern and northeastern areas of the city of Rafah.
She added that the occupation aircraft blew up houses in the center of Rafah, and targeted with fire belts the Al-Tanour neighborhood and Khirbet Al-Adas, east of the city.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll from the aggression since October 7 had risen to 36,50 martyrs and 81,26 wounded, while the number of missing people is estimated at 10,000.
The ministry said that the Israeli army committed 7 massacres against families in Gaza during the past 24 hours, of which 66 martyrs and 383 wounded were brought to hospitals.
