Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former Zamalek star, revealed the secret behind his communication with Emam Ashour after the end of his trip with Danish Maitland and his return to Egypt.
Mido came as a guest of Ramez Jalal, accompanied by Imam Ashour, the Al-Ahly player, on his program Ramez Jab Min Al Akhir, which is shown on MBC Egypt.
Mido said during his appearance on the Ramez Gap program from the other: “Imam Ashour is the only player who has the scent of our generation, and he is a great player.”
He added: “I was hoping that he would continue in Zamalek, especially because I know that he and his family are Zamalek.”
He continued: “Any player who plays for Al-Ahly or Zamalek loves white more.”
Imam Ashour joined Al-Ahly during the last summer transfer period, after a short experience with the Danish team Maitland.
