Books – Ahmed Adel:
Haitham Al-Fawy, the lawyer of former Al-Ahly player Moamen Zakaria, revealed the latest developments in the fabrication of his client’s magic works being found inside the graves, before the start of the first trial sessions of the accused.
Al-Fawy said, in a live broadcast to “Masrawy”, that the accused fabricated the incident and filmed it to obtain sums of money, and the second accused admitted that she had asked for 100,000 pounds from the media personality, Reham Saeed, to film with them. The broadcaster said during her program that the accused had asked for 5 million pounds to broadcast a video. The incident occurred while the player was in the graveyard.
Al-Fawy continued, regarding the defendants’ claim that there were acts of witchcraft inside the graves of Captain Magdy Abdel Ghani? “Moamen Zakaria” has a high level of understanding and is a personal friend of Captain Magdy Abdel Ghani. He is above the level of suspicion, and his name was not mentioned in the investigation papers.
The Public Prosecution ordered that the defendants in Case No. 6904 of 2024, Al-Khalifa Misdemeanors, related to the incident of fabricating magic acts for player Moamen Zakaria, be referred to criminal trial.
The Public Prosecution said in a statement that it had received a report from former football player Moamen Zakaria, that the first defendant had broadcast false news via a television interview, stating that he and the other four defendants had found witchcraft belonging to him in one of the cemeteries in the Al-Khalifa area. Which terrified him.
The Public Prosecution began investigations, and it was proven by questioning the complainant and his family that the defendants had fabricated acts of witchcraft and buried them in one of the cemeteries. Then they informed one of his wife’s relatives that they had found those acts and showed him them. When the complainant went to that cemetery, they filmed him with the intention of exploiting his illness and making financial gains by broadcasting that news. By the media, which was supported by police investigations.
The report of the technical examination of the defendants’ phones also revealed written conversations between them indicating that they committed the incident.
The Public Prosecution reviewed the content of the television interview and discovered that the first defendant appeared promoting these rumors and news. It also interrogated the defendants and ordered that they be brought to criminal trial.
