Mohamed Ozaleb assumes the position of non-executive chairman of Banque du Caire

Banking sources said that banker Mohamed Ozalb assumed the position of non-executive chairman of Banque du Caire.

Mohamed Ozaleb recently held the position of non-executive chairman of the United Bank. He also held the position of CEO of BLOM Bank Egypt since April 2010, before the Arab Banking Corporation ABC acquired the bank.

During the first quarter of 2024, Banque du Caire achieved remarkable growth of about 129%, as the bank’s net profits reached 2.4 billion pounds, compared to 1 billion pounds during the same period in 2023.

Profits before taxes amounted to 3.6 billion pounds, compared to 1.9 billion pounds during the same period in 2023, with a growth rate of 93%. These positive results are supported by the growth achieved by the bank in its various banking activities.
