UEFA announced that the 2026 Champions League final will be held in Budapest (the capital of Hungary).
Today, Wednesday, the European Union took several decisions regarding the cities that will host the finals of European championships in the coming years, including the Champions League.
Hungary will host the Champions League final in 2026 at the Puskas Arena, which has a capacity of 67,215 spectators.
UEFA confirmed that the final of the 2026 European League competition will be held in Istanbul (Besiktas Stadium), while the final of the 2027 edition of this competition will go to the German city of Frankfurt Stadium.
In the same context, there was a delay in making a decision regarding the stadium for the 2027 Champions League final, as UEFA waited for confirmations from the Italian Federation regarding plans to renovate the San Siro Stadium in Milan.
Finally, the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final (in 2026) will be held in Oslo.
It is noteworthy that the Champions League final of the current year 2024 will be held at the beginning of next June at Wembley Stadium in London between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, while the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, will host next year’s 2025 final.
