Artist Salah Abdullah recalled his memories with artist Lotfi Labib
Salah Abdullah continued during a telephone conversation with the journalist Nihal Tayel on the “Details” program, broadcast on the “Sada El Balad 2” channel: “Do you remember Al-Manial, Lotfi, from Esaad Younes, in which all the old men of Egypt were, and we made a light-hearted series in it, but unfortunately it was not broadcast.” In Egypt, the late Alaa Wali El-Din and I were the youngest two in the position, and Lotfy had a talent for writing and was distinguished, and before sixty years of fame he had a career in theater and a number of artistic works.”
Salah pointed out that Lotfi Labib went through a period of frustration with acting and began talking to him by asking the producers to read the stories and novels he was writing. At that time, he was an actor and I was extremely impressed by his performance in an indescribable way.
Salah Abdullah explained that after a while, Lotfi Labib became the joker that Egyptian stars could not dispense with in their artistic works, whether cinema or drama, and it became the dream of every actor to reach Lotfi Labib’s performance and abilities.
Salah Abdullah continued: “There is no actor who has not worked with Lotfi Labib unless he is comfortable with him, especially the young man. And I am one of the people who, when I worked with him, would fly from the happiness that was in him, and when we finished the scene, we would sit and talk, and I loved him when he would tell me about his memories.” “
