Mohamed Hadi, director of the office of the late artist Samir Sabry and his personal friend for 25 years, said that the latter’s belongings were sold on the sidewalks in the streets, and he saw this in a video circulated on social media.
Muhammad Hadi continued, during a telephone conversation with the journalist Nihal Tayel on the “Details” program, broadcast on the “Sada El Balad 2” channel: Before the death of Samir Sabry, he agreed with the former Minister of Culture, Enas Abdel Dayem, to annex his possessions to the Ministry of Culture, and at that time he called his mother’s sister and explained to her that The Minister of Culture is interested in his property.
“Hadi” indicated that Samir Sabry wrote an approved answer to the Minister of Culture, after which a committee of members of the Ministry of Culture was formed and they remained in his office for 10 days examining the collectibles, including pictures, posters for his films, awards, pens, etc., and then the office was closed two months before his death.

Muhammad Hadi explained that Samir Sabry was not related to anyone except his cousins, stressing that his cousins ​​did not visit him in the hospital during the period of his illness.
He continued: We were surprised by unknown people who issued inheritance notices for the late Samir Sabry.
Muhammad Hadi concluded his speech by saying: The artist Samir Sabry never talked about his children or mentioned that he had children in his life, and he does not like to talk about his personal life, but he prefers to talk about his artistic works only.
