Women’s Day 2024 and women drivers still encounter disparaging expressions every day: “Who gave you a license?”, “Do you want me to park for you?”
But the truth is that women drive better than men. This is not a hypothesis, this is a fact. A study conducted by AIG on 140,000 drivers insured with it over the years reveals a clear fact: Women drive better. They are less involved in accidents, and even when they are involved in accidents, the damage they cause to the body and property is lower than male drivers. And the result: car insurance policies at better rates.
International Women’s Day is an opportunity to salute women drivers, using exactly the same ridiculous sentences they hear on the road every day. The couple Assi Ezer and Albert Escola star in a new campaign for the insurance company AIG through the advertising agency Reuveni Friedan, under the slogan: AIG. doing it better The campaign salutes women driving, invites men to drive like them responsibly, and of course to get cheaper rates as well.
The campaign calls on all drivers to adopt a more responsible and careful driving style, regardless of gender. This is an important call for cultural change in relation to road safety as a whole.
