The Egyptian national football team qualified for the final of the International Friendly Capital Cup of Egypt with a valuable victory over the New Zealand national team with a clean goal in the match that brought them together on Friday evening, 3/22/2024, at Misr Stadium in the New Administrative Capital, within the framework of the semi-finals of the Egyptian Capital Cup.
The Egyptian national team’s only goal in the match was scored by Mostafa Mohamed in the 29th minute from a penalty kick, so the national team succeeded in achieving its first victory under the new technical leadership of Hossam Hassan, who came as a replacement for Portuguese Rui Vitoria.
In the Egyptian Cup final next Tuesday, the Egyptian national team will face the winner of the confrontation that will bring together Tunisia against Croatia, while New Zealand will play with the loser of them for third place.
