The Egyptian national football team qualified for the final of the International Friendly Capital Cup of Egypt with a valuable victory over the New Zealand national team with a clean goal in the match that brought them together on Friday evening, 3/22/2024, at Misr Stadium in the New Administrative Capital, within the framework of the semi-finals of the Egyptian Capital Cup.

The Egyptian national team’s only goal in the match was scored by Mostafa Mohamed in the 29th minute from a penalty kick, so the national team succeeded in achieving its first victory under the new technical leadership of Hossam Hassan, who came as a replacement for Portuguese Rui Vitoria.
