The General Administration of Civil Defense signs a cooperation agreement with the National Fire Protection Association in the United States

Washington, June 24 (BNA): In implementation of the directives of His Excellency Lieutenant General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Civil Defense Council, to improve the civil protection and safety system, continue building civil defense capabilities, develop its mechanisms, and update requirements and standards for public safety and fire prevention through the exchange of experiences. In order to review the latest findings in these fields and adopt successful and proven policies, including regional and international cooperation with counterpart agencies, Brigadier General Pilot Ali Muhammad Al-Kubaisi, Director General of the General Administration of Civil Defense, signed a cooperation agreement with the National Fire Protection Association, while heading a delegation. He explained that the agreement aims to activate and integrate the safety and fire ecosystem in various fields, in addition to enhancing cooperation in the fields of training, preparing cadres and expertise at the local and international levels in the fields of fire prevention, and examining ways to benefit from the latest technology and techniques in developing safety requirements and requirements in the field. He pointed out that through the agreement, joint action plans will be developed to enhance joint cooperation to develop safety standards and requirements in the Kingdom of Bahrain through a global perspective, in addition to involving civil defense cadres to conduct scientific research, transfer experiences internationally, and seek to qualify experts in the field of fire protection in a number of areas. specializations, building strategic partnerships in the areas of media awareness for the public, and acting as a consulting body for a number of future projects and initiatives in the fields of future forecasting and artificial intelligence.

The conference features more than 350 exhibitors, more than 120 educational sessions, workshops and a platform for networking with elite fire protection engineers, firefighters, safety equipment manufacturers and government safety officials.
