As part of its initiatives towards social responsibility, the National Bank, represented by the “Ahli Cares” team, organized a visit to the Social Welfare Home in Rustaq with the aim of celebrating Eid Al-Adha with the elderly residing in the home, and learning about the efforts made to support this group. During the visit, National Bank employees, represented by the “Ahli Cares” team, provided care for the elderly by providing basic supplies, some medical tools, and others, which would enhance the home’s services and the quality of life of its residents.
The team also spent a special entertainment day with the elderly and interacted with them through activities, games, exchanging stories, and participating in lunch, in addition to exchanging congratulations and offering gifts on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, spreading joy and happiness among them.
Jumana Al-Hashemi, Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at the National Bank, said: “At the National Bank, we believe in the importance of leaving a positive impact on the lives of individuals in the community in which we work, and this includes the elderly group, in line with the care given by the wise government to this group within the Oman 2040 Vision.”

This visit gave us the opportunity to communicate with the elderly residing in the care home to enhance and improve their quality of life, in addition to spreading joy and happiness.
