Masrawy obtained the load-reducing schedule implemented by the Alexandria Electricity Distribution Company throughout the days of June 23 and 24, with essentially 3 continuous hours and up to 5 separate hours in some areas.
According to the schedule, the load reduction plan extends throughout Alexandria Governorate between two o’clock in the afternoon and ten o’clock in the evening, provided that the activation of the outage begins an hour earlier than usual in the previous schedule in each region and extends for about 3 basic hours.
The break period in groups (1, 3, and 6) begins at four in the afternoon – instead of five o’clock – and extends until seven in the evening.
The period of power outage in groups (2, 4, and 5) begins at five in the evening – instead of six – and continues until eight in the evening.
The outage period in groups (8 and 9) begins at three in the afternoon – instead of four – and extends until six in the evening, and the power outage is repeated in the same groups from eight until ten in the evening, with a total outage period of 5 separate hours.
The power cut in groups 7, 10, and 11 begins at two in the afternoon – instead of three o’clock – and extends until five in the evening.
Today, Monday, the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company issued a statement in which it denied excluding coastal governorates from load reduction, stressing that what is being circulated is completely false.
