Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich visited Kibbutz Kerem Shalom this week, and told his friends that this is the first time he has visited the Kibbutz since the outbreak of the war. He said that in the first months of the war there were “a lot of complexities” and “justified anger”, as he put it, towards the government. “I avoided physically going to places I wasn’t invited to so as not to arouse anger,” Smotrich said. “I, as the representative of the government, will go anywhere they ask me to be of help and assistance, and I will not go anywhere where they don’t want it yet.”
