Dr. Ahmed Omar Hashem, a member of the Council of Senior Scholars at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, spoke about the virtue of the last ten days of the month of Ramadan, saying: “Your Lord has blessings in the days of your life, so be exposed to them. Perhaps a whiff of them will befall you and you will never be distressed after them.”
Dr. Ahmed Omar Hashem added, during his Ramadan program, The Messenger’s Diaries, broadcast on Sada El Balad channel, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to take advantage of these days in obedience, as it was reported from the Prophet: “When the last ten nights of Ramadan came, he would revive the night, wake up his family, and strive to And he tightened the apron.”
Ahmed Omar Hashem continued: Among the actions of the Prophet during these last ten days of Ramadan, he was vigilant among his household to take advantage of these nights of pleasure, and the Prophet also apologized to women during these days.
Ahmed Omar Hashim continued: “The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, used to make vigils during the last ten days of Ramadan, and say: “Seek Laylat al-Qadr in the last ten days of Ramadan.”
Ahmed Omar Hashim explained that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, worked hard in Ramadan in a way that he did not in any other time, and in the last ten days of Ramadan he did not in any other way, pointing out that the Prophet used to mark the nights of these days with remembrance, supplication, and striving for worship. Ahmed Omar Hashem added: “The Prophet was keen to take advantage of these blessings, just as the fasting person is sincere to God, and in his seclusion to God he is sincere to God, so every action and action on these good days is desirable to do.”
