A source at Al-Ahly Club revealed the list of the Red Team that was settled on by Swiss Marcel Koller, the Red Team’s coach, in preparation for the match against Tala’ea El-Gaish in the Egyptian League Championship.
Al-Ahly will play against Tala’ea El-Geish tomorrow evening, Monday, at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the matches of the 30th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The source indicated that Kohler entered a closed camp with 21 players today in preparation for the anticipated match, as follows:
Goalkeeping: Mustafa Shobeir, Mahmoud Al-Zanfali, Mustafa Makhlouf.
In defense: Yasser Ibrahim, Karim Fouad, Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Mohamed Hany, Khaled Abdel Fattah, Omar Kamal.
In the middle: Akram Tawfik, Hussein El Shahat, Imam Ashour, Amr El-Soulia, Karim Nedved, Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Ahmed Abdelkader, Aliou Dieng, Marawan Attia, Reda Selim.
In the attack: Taher Mohammed Taher, Wissam Abu Ali.
The Swiss coach also decided to exclude:
1- Mohamed El-Shenawy for rest.
2- Mahmoud Kahraba, Rami Rabia and Mahmoud Metwally for technical reasons.
3- Percy Tau due to lack of physical readiness.
4- Ali Maaloul due to injury.
5- Hamza Alaa, Ahmed Nabil “Coca” and Karim El-Dabbas to join the Olympic team.
It is noteworthy that this is the third time in a row that Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba has been absent from Al-Ahly matches, after he was absent from the roster for the matches against Tala’ea El-Geish and El-Dakhleya on July 1 and 4.
