The artist, Nahid El Sibaei, announced the death of Mrs. Suhair Turk, the wife of the late artist Farid Shawqi, and the mother of her two aunts, Rania and Abeer Farid Shawqi.

Nahid said on her Instagram account: “We belong to God and to Him we shall return. My grandfather’s wife, Mrs. Soheir Turk, and the mother of my aunts, Rania Farid Shawqi and Abeer Farid Shawqi, have passed away to the mercy of God Almighty. We ask you to pray for Al-Fatihah and pray for all those we lost.”
