Azhari scholar on Al-Nas channel: The Qur’an is the word of God and the truthful message from Him.. Video

Sheikh Muhammad Abdel-Baath, one of the scholars of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, said that the Qur’an has two characteristics, explaining: “If we say that the Qur’an is the word of God, the word is true, and if we say that the Qur’an is the truthful communication of God, the word is true.”

Abdel-Baath added, in his speech on Al-Nas channel: “We cannot differentiate between the two ratios except by disentangling the aspect between self-speech and speech recited in a clear Arabic language. The Qur’an carries both matters, because the Qur’an has a nature.”

He continued: “The nature of the Qur’an is told by its verbal structure, its poetic structures, and its rhetorical designs. It is restricted to the manifestations of the sober Arabic style, and nothing deviates from this.”

He continued: “However, the matter became confusing for many who were unable to understand this difference, so they thought that what we are reciting is the ancient, that is, the ancient and intrinsic speech existing in the essence of God Almighty. This is a mistake that led many to consider this speech, which is composed of letters and has a language, to be speech.” And the Truth, Glory be to Him, has explained in Surat Al-Shura, 5 letters of the construction at the beginning of the Surah, which are H M A S Q, thus He inspires to you and to those before you, and He used “Yawhi” which is a present tense verb indicating the occurrence of these letters, then a little later he says, “And thus We revealed to you.” An Arabic Qur’an, that is, in an Arabic language. At the beginning of the surah he referred to the letter, and after this place he referred to the language, then he concluded the surah by referring to the spirit.”
