The education departments in Riyadh, Qassim, and the Eastern Province announced the suspension of in-person studies and their continuation via the Madrasati platform and the Rawdati platform for all male and female students and male and female school employees due to bad weather conditions.
The suspension included schools in the Education Department in the Eastern Province, Al-Ahsa, Hafr Al-Batin, Wadi Al-Dawasir, Al-Quwayiyah, Shaqra, Al-Zulfi, Al-Ghat and Al-Majma’ah governorates.
Universities also decided to suspend in-person studies for tomorrow and switch to the distance learning system. This decision included Qassim University, King Faisal University, and King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Al-Ahsa branch.
It is noteworthy that the National Center of Meteorology warned of active dust raised by the descending winds of cumulonimbus thunderclouds, leading to a lack of horizontal visibility in the western parts of Qassim and Riyadh.
