As mentioned, he decided to open his visit to Israel at the national headquarters of the national volunteer organization Ihud Hatzla in Jerusalem, when he was greeted upon his arrival by the president and founder of the organization Eli Bir and the CEO Eli Polak. Another exciting moment was recorded, when the boxer blew out the candles that were lit on a huge birthday cake prepared by the organization’s volunteers to mark the 36th birthday of the dedicated volunteer Dolev Yehud, who went out to save lives on the seventh of October as part of his volunteering as a medic in the rescue union and was kidnapped by the terrorists. “I know what it is to be a father, I am a big fan of my dear father and I pray every day for peace to come and for the return of Dolev to his dear children,” said Floyd.
Mayweather visited the organization’s emergency call center and received a comprehensive overview from the VP of operations Dobi Meisel about all the life-saving activities that approximately 7,000 volunteers of the Rescue Union, Jews and Arabs throughout the country routinely perform in general and since 7/10 in particular and presented him with dramatic documentation from the organization’s ambulance cameras, With them, the volunteers saved lives in the south of the country and in the surrounding settlements on the seventh of October.
Floyd also received a comprehensive operational review of the organization’s emergency motorcycle unit, which are the spearhead of the life-saving activity in the rescue union.
