The Spanish coach refuses to downplay his achievement with Barcelona

City is preparing to cross the threshold of the final price tomorrow, Wednesday, after its victory away from home against Copenhagen of Denmark 3-1, noting that the team has not lost in 19 matches in various competitions.
Pep ruled out talking about a new hat-trick (which he achieved last season), saying in a press conference today: “The only goal is to try to qualify tomorrow for the Champions League quarter-finals. We are still very far away from talking about these matters.”
He added: “We did not say that last season until we won the cup final against Manchester United. It was still the beginning of March.”
He explained, “The European Championship has become better and more difficult. The teams and coaches have improved. Everything has become difficult compared to the period when I was a player. But in the end, the better teams advance.”
He concluded: “I will not say that leading City to their first European title was a greater achievement than leading Barcelona to the coronation, otherwise I would underestimate the value of what we achieved with Barcelona. I do not want this matter, because it was really good. Every moment is important.”
