Hossam Hassan, the coach of the national team, said that Omar Marmoush, the Eintracht Frankfurt player, may not be with them in the next camp in June.
Hassan added, during a session with journalists, today, Monday: “Marmoush has been suffering from an injury to his finger for some time, and his club refused to postpone the surgery, so he may not be with us in the next camp in June.”
During the coming period, the Egyptian national team, led by Hossam Hassan, is preparing to enter a camp during the month of June. During which the team will play two matches against each of Burkina Faso and Equatorial Guinea, as part of the World Cup qualifiers.
The national team will meet its counterpart Burkina Faso on June 3 in the third round of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, then it will meet the Guinea-Bissau national team on the 10th of the same month in the fourth round of qualifiers.
