Kuwait – March 9 (KUNA) — Al-Qadisiyah reached the final of the Handball Super Cup by defeating its counterpart Burgan with a score of (37-34) today, Saturday.
The first half ended with Al-Qadisiyah ahead of Burgan with a score of (15-13) in the match that was held in the closed Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Hall (Sabah Al-Salem).
The match witnessed a close technical level between the two teams, with Al-Qadisiyah having a slight advantage in the result, and it remained superior throughout the match. Burgan tried to change the result, but to no avail, so the match ended in favor of Al-Qadisiyah.
For its part, Kuwait qualified for the final of the same tournament by defeating its counterpart Kazma in extra time with a score of (46-44) after the end of regular time in a draw (34-34).
Kuwait finished the first half ahead (17-16) before confirming its superiority with the final result and reaching the final of the Handball Super Cup.
Thus, the final will bring together Al-Qadisiyah against Kuwait, which will be held tomorrow, Sunday, in the Saad Al-Abdullah Hall. (The End) H.M.S.C.
