The board of the largest telecommunications company in Israel, Bezeq, this morning appointed Nir David as the company’s CEO.
David started his work at Bezeq about 30 years ago (1993), as an infrastructure technician and gradually advanced through a series of positions in the company. In 2011, he was appointed to the position of director of the customer relations department. About 7 years later, he was appointed acting manager of the business division and in 2020 he held the position permanently, so that during the last 4 years he served as the vice president of the business division.
Following the appointment, David said, “During my years at Bezeq, the company has become an inseparable part of me, and I am not proud to lead it at this time. I thank the company’s board of directors for the trust they have placed in me. Together with the excellent management, we will lead Bezeq to continued success, for the benefit of all our customers, employees The company and the shareholders. Together we will continue to develop, innovate and lead the media market in Israel.”
