Al-Omari and Al-Fateel were injured during Al-Nasr’s match against Al-Ain in the second leg of the AFC Champions League quarter-finals, which ended with a 4-3 victory for the Yellows, but with their exit from the continental tournament on penalty shoot-out due to their loss in the first leg 1-0.
Al-Omari suffered a calf muscle injury, while Al-Fateel suffers from a connective muscle injury. They are certain to be absent from Friday’s confrontation against Al-Ahly, joining a long list of absentees, headed by Anderson Talisca and Sultan Al-Ghanem.

The good news in the Al-Nasr camp was that Abdul Rahman Gharib was ready for the match, as tests showed that he did not suffer from any serious injury, after he left the Al-Ain match due to a muscle injury.
