The half-brother of the Egyptian artist, Sherine Seif Al-Nasr, announced on Saturday her death, in a post on his social media accounts.
Sherif Saif Al-Nasr said: “Today, my little half-sister, the artist Sherine Hanem Elham Saif Al-Nasr, passed away today, and the prayer and burial took place in the family graves in peace and quiet, as the deceased requested, and the ceremonies are limited to that without consolation, in accordance with her will.” He asked his followers to “pray for mercy and forgiveness for her.”
Sherine Seif Al-Nasr’s name was at the top of the “X” website in Egypt, and the site’s pioneers shared the news of her sudden death with pictures of her and information about her, expressing their shock, especially with her disappearance from the artistic scene for more than 12 years.
