The price of gold rose today, Monday, in Egypt by about 25 pounds by midday trading, compared to morning trading.
The rise came after the price of a gram dropped by 95 pounds at the beginning of trading, compared to yesterday’s prices.

14 karat gold prices rose to 2,106 pounds per gram.
The price of 18 karat gold increased by about 2,700 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 carat gold rose to 3,150 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold rose to about 3,600 pounds per gram.
The price of the gold pound
The price of the gold pound increased to 25,200 pounds. The price may vary from one merchant to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.
Gold price globally
The price of gold globally reached about $2,179 per ounce (an ounce is equivalent to about 31.1 grams of 24 karat), according to the latest update of Bloomberg data.
