The family of the late artist Jamil Barsoum will receive condolences at the Church of the Virgin Mary Maraachli in Zamalek, tomorrow, Wednesday, March 6, from six in the evening to ten in the evening.
Father Boutros Daniel, head of the Catholic Center for Cinema, announced the death of artist Jamil Barsoum, in the early hours of yesterday morning, Monday, March 4.
Daniel wrote on his official Facebook account: “Eternal rest, grant him, O Lord, and may your perpetual light shine for him, and may he rest in peace.”
He continued: “We offer our heartfelt condolences on the passing of the wonderful, decent and humble artist Jamil Barsoum, who entertained us all with his fine artistic works. We ask for mercy and forgiveness from God and condolences to his family and lovers.”
Father Boutros Daniel revealed the location of the funeral of the artist Jamil Barsoum, who died after honoring him at the Catholic Center Festival. Prayers will be performed over the body this afternoon at St. George Church in Damanhour. The funeral date and location in Cairo have not been determined.
It is noteworthy that the late artist Jamil Barsoum participated in about 100 works, including: “The Blue Elephant, Me and My Cousin, Cousins, Under Guardianship, Setham, Outside the Box, Valentino, My Story, My Share and My Divide, A Time for Roses” and others.
