Al-Nassr Saudi Arabia exited the AFC Champions League in the quarter-finals, with defeat from Al-Ain of the Emirates on penalty kicks 3-1. Al-Nassr faces the specter of setbacks, which accompanies it after the continental exit, and its influence is present in most of the team’s local matches.

But since 2016, Al-Nasr has not known the taste of victories after bidding farewell to the AFC Champions League, as after bidding farewell to the tournament, it lost to Al-Ittihad by five in the Saudi League, and suffered another defeat from Al-Hazm, a few days after bidding farewell to the 2019 AFC Champions League quarter-finals.

In the 2020 edition, Al-Nassr Saudi Arabia reached the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League, but failed to qualify for the final, only to return and fall locally with defeat from Al-Fateh. Al-Nassr repeated the same fate in the 2021 edition of the AFC Champions League, and returned and lost to Al-Ettifaq in the Saudi League.

Al-Nasr is awaiting a strong confrontation against Al-Ahly Jeddah in the Roshan League, at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, after being eliminated from the AFC Champions League in the quarter-finals after defeat by Al-Ain of the UAE.
