Abdullah Ghorab, head of the General Division for Bakeries at the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, said that the decline in the price of a ton of flour by 2,000 pounds today will have a major impact on the decline in the price of a loaf of tourist bread in bakeries during the coming period.

Ghorab added, in a telephone conversation with the journalist Azza Mustafa on the “Tahrir Hall” program broadcast on Sada El Balad channel, today, Saturday, that the problem of tourist bread in the Egyptian market is due to failure to adhere to a specific and specific weight for the loaf of bread.

He explained that there is direct and periodic communication with all bakeries in Egypt, which number more than 30,000 bakeries, stressing that the price of the tourist loaf will decrease by about 25% after the Eid al-Fitr holiday, starting next Monday.
