Aiten Amer defends the boldness of the series One Wife is Not Enough: We do not offer art!

Actress Aiten Amer responded to the criticism faced by the series “One Wife is Not Enough” and some of its bold scenes, saying that she is committed to the written text and that she is not the script writer.

During a television interview for the “The Oracle” program, with journalist Basma Wahba, broadcast on “Al-Nahar” TV on Thursday evening, she considered that the series presents real models that exist in society that must be presented for discussion.

For her part, journalist Basma Wahba expressed her astonishment at some of the dialogue sentences in the series, saying: “Models in society!” When the husband has an accident and the doctor says to relax, you say this sentence! “I can’t say it. Unfortunately, the series is very shocking and bold.”

Ayten defended the series, confirming that there are people in society who think this way, commenting: “We should not make art or make series!” These are models in society and we provide them.” ‏

In another context, she said that she had reconciled with the artist Somaya El Khashab, explaining that what happened between them was not a dispute. Rather, it was just a misunderstanding

She pointed out that the artist Somaya Al-Khashab accused her of imitating her because of wearing a dress, stressing that she did not know that she had worn the dress before.
