In the 84th minute, Al-Ahly succeeded in scoring the first goal through Imam Ashour, as he received a ball inside the penalty area from his colleague Mohamed Magdy (Afsha), and put it into Awad’s net, scoring the first goal, with which the referee was forced to resort to (FAR) to verify its authenticity before counting it.

In the fourth minute of stoppage time for the second half, Afsha scored the second goal for Al-Ahly, after receiving a pass from Imam Ashour on the edge of the penalty area, putting the ball with a distinctive low shot past Awad, who failed to handle the ball.

The rest of the minutes of the second half did not witness anything new, until the referee blew the whistle for the end of the match.
