The company executing the project to construct the new Benha University Hospital discovered the presence of a coffin and some artifacts in the excavation site of the new Benha Hospital construction project, and they were transported by the archaeologists.

A source inside Benha University Hospital confirmed that the discovery consists of 50 tons of stone blocks with engravings inside them in the upper part, and it is said to be an ancient tomb, of the ruling writer in Benha since 2460 BC.

It is noteworthy that the project to establish the new Banha University Hospital, which is being implemented on a plot of land with an area of ​​​​9033 square meters, with a capacity of 450 beds.

The first phase began with the demolition and removal of all buildings on the site proposed for the establishment of the hospital, followed by the preparation and approval of the functional program and the general design proposal, as well as the preparation and approval of designs and executive drawings, the terms and specifications booklet, lists of quantities, and price comparison, in addition to presenting a detailed timetable for implementation and obtaining all permits and licenses necessary for the work. .

The second phase of the project includes mechanical foundation works, the construction of (2) basements, a ground floor, and (7) recurring floors, while the third phase includes finishing works, and electromechanical works, including works on medical gases, capsules, specialized units, and dialysis units. As for the second phase, The fourth includes medical equipment, medical and non-medical furnishings.

It is worth noting that the work of the first phase has been completely completed, and the work of the second phase has begun, as the total building area will reach 60,000 square meters, and includes a basement, ground floor, and 7 basements, with a capacity of 450 beds, 15 operating rooms, 50 intensive care beds, and many specialties.
