The decision to stop the load-reducing plan during the holy month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr will end at the end of today, Sunday, and the load-reducing schedules will be implemented again starting Monday.
The Council of Ministers set schedules for reducing loads and dates for cutting off electricity in various governorates of the Republic, by the end of July 2023.
The plan to reduce loads in Cairo Governorate included schedules for different cities and neighborhoods and timings for disconnecting and restoring electricity.
Four regions and governorates are excluded: Matrouh, North Sinai, South Sinai, and the Red Sea, in addition to strategic areas that are excluded from police stations, hospitals, and others.
