The technical staff of the Zamalek club’s first football team, led by Portuguese Jose Gomez, decided to start training normally at five o’clock in the evening tomorrow, Friday, at the club’s stadium, in preparation for the next Al-Ahly match, which was postponed from the tenth round of the Premier League competition.
The technical staff refused to give the players a rest after defeating Al-Ittihad of Alexandria by three in the match that was held between them today in the Premier League competition in order to prepare for the summit match.
A team achieved Zamalek Victory over Al-Ittihad of Alexandria with a score of 3-0 in the match that brought them together this evening, Thursday, “the second day of Eid Al-Fitr,” at Cairo International Stadium, in the postponed match from the eighth round of the Premier League competition.
With this victory, Zamalek’s score rises to 18 points in 12th place in the league table after playing 12 matches, winning 5 matches, drawing 3 matches and losing 4 matches. Its players scored 20 goals and conceded 13 goals.
On the other hand, Al-Ittihad of Alexandria occupies third place with 27 points, after playing 16 matches, winning 7, drawing 6 and losing 2. Its players scored 21 goals, and scored 19 goals.
