Al-Nawawi said in Sharh al-Muhadhdhab: “It is recommended for the fasting person to pray during his fast for important matters in the hereafter and this world for himself, for those he loves, and for the Muslims, based on the hadith of Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said May God bless him and grant him peace: “There are three whose supplications are not rejected: the fasting person until he breaks his fast, the just imam, and the oppressed person,” narrated by him. Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah, and Al-Tirmidhi said: It is a hasan hadith.
