Swiss Marcel Kohler, Al-Ahly coach, won the Egypt Cup title after winning yesterday evening, Friday, against Zamalek in the final match that was held at Al-Awal Park Stadium.
Al-Ahly won with a clean double against Zamalek, so Al-Ahly won its first title at the expense of Zamalek in 17 years.
Kohler adds the seventh title in his history with Al-Ahly club, as he previously won 6 titles, namely: the Super Cup 3 times, the Egypt Cup twice, and the Premier League once, without forgetting the eleventh African star who decorated Al-Ahly’s shirt, after winning the Champions League title against… Moroccan Wydad.
Koller also succeeded in winning two championships at the expense of Zamalek since the beginning of his journey with the Red Castle, as follows:
